Soccer is imo the hardest sport to score points. You will rarely see a team score in the double digits or close to it so scoring 2 points in 90 minutes is pretty regular.

It’s really weird to see a team win by more than 3 goals or score 3 goals, the double digit scores never happens, and only has occurred in the 20,30,50 but not in the modern era, the average match score is 1-0, only good ass teams win by a lot more

Yeah for a team to get even close to double digits the team scoring has to be nasty and the team conceding the goals has to be trash af. Even a trash team nowadays won't concede that many goals though.

Yes and no. They will play games but it wouldn't hard to keep up with as the rules will now really be applying to the type of games they'll play. I'm guessing even if they do play official matches, it will be pretty obvious when some rule was broken like they give give yellow and red cards. Volleyball is not as complex as soccer (football for rest of world).

So the thing about blue lock is that yea they can't play for Japan but there are multiple clubs out there overseas they can play for. So I wouldn't say it's a career ender for anyone not being number 1 but it probably sucks you can't for the specific team you wanted.

Being banned from playing for Japan is not just for the World Cup but for all future international matches. Yea these kids can still play nationals with the club teams and whatnot, but to any aspiring soccer athlete, losing the chance to represent your country forever is probably worse than death. Losing here doesnt end their career in terms of club soccer but for the Japan National Team, that dream is forever dead.

Technically you can only play for your country of birth. Soccer players would have to have a dual passport in order to represent a different country and even then it doesn't guarantee them a spot in any of the European or South American teams.

Haikyuu!! is a very good sports anime with a typical sports anime plot, but this is a sports anime with a very unconventional sports anime plot. I wouldn't say enjoying haikyuu necessarily means you'll like this, but its still a good time regardless imo. My best way of explaining it is; Squid Games + Soccer anime. Up to you if that peaks your interest or not.

You can only represent your country of birth, a dual citizenship is possible but it’s not guaranteed you can play for them or if you’re even allowed too, I think it’s different for the different countries but it kinda make sense if it was that easy every team would just recruit from around the world and then it’ll kinda lose the point and spirit of the competition in the first place

Honestly, when I played soccer, I loved playing in the cold. Cold air is a little thicker and more dense, so every breath is worth a bit more oxygen, meaning cardio endurance increases a little in the cold. Second, as you play and exert yourself, your body tends to heat up, but in the cold, you could go as hard as you want to and you get some solid thermo-regulation for the free. The only downside i can think of is that since the air is denser, a stray breeze will affect your passes and shots a bit harder, so when passing or shooting, a good player will account for that!

Honestly this "will never play for japan" thing sucks, but most players play in random clubs/leagues internationally anyway. If you're good enough, those are the teams actually paying you money most of the time. And with how corrupt the world is, if you're killing it on a club more than anybody else internationally, you really think the governing body for Japan's International Team is going to be like "nah he lost at that random ass prison soccer we must keep our word"
