Nah that scene where Ash pulled up to Dino on the truck was epic asf. Plus the fact Ash was able to get a shot on him even though he got shot by Arthur's men shows how crazy his accuracy is.

Also, I interpreted Max saying "You.." at 3:20 as him knowing Ash was about to do some shit rather than figuring out his past. Solely because Ash tells him he knows Dino better, and that he's no match for him, right after Max says he's going to keep investigating banana fish.

I think it's a little bit of both in that Max realized that Ash has a past with Dino and the fact he knows him well enough means that Max knew where Ash was going to be and what he was going to do when he got out.

That is true. Both are right, in the sense that Max knew what Ash was planning to do, but Roshi & Sheera just said that he knows about Ash's abuse and didn't mention anything about Max realizing Ash's motives. Though, to be fair, they could've known and just didn't say anything. Especially since they didn't seem all that surprised Max knew where Ash was going lol

As some1 who actlly lives in NYC now, this show is incredibly accurate with the background detailing. Also, the original storyline is supposed to take place in 1980s NYC so the NYPD would've been much more corrupt then and most likely under Dino's control. I mean even today, shootings happen and there's never police insight to stop it. They uslly come for the aftermath.
