There r very few shows that tackle p*dophilia and child trafficking. It's the sad state of reality that they exist in the real world but most average ppl turn a blind eye to it. This show puts a spot light on serious issues ppl tend to avoid. I hope this inspires ppl to fight against trafficking in real life and donate or volunteer for organizations. It's literally modern day slavery yet it just feels like barely anyone is outraged about it...

I forgot how quickly everything escalates in the first three episodes and your guys aren't even on the 3rd one yet! Still you get how powerful and serious the plot is and what kind of life Ash has lived up until now. The duality between Eiji and Ash is really important when it comes to this. Also I don't know if anyone mentioned this already, but the original story in and manga took place in the 80's so that's why NYC has an old school style too it. They modernized it a little with the cell p hones, but other than that they stayed pretty true to everything. ^-^
