Heya Roshi I really recommend y'all watching the last 3 episodes of Assassination Classroom next friday as it'd be a bit awkward watching the final episode the week after considering the plot points of the final few episodes

someone mentioned this earlier but they explained why Koro is yellow. In the episode where they showed his initial experimentation. They states the tentacles respond to whatever the host desires. And in Koro’s case he told them that he wanted to be weak and non threatening, allowing him to teach the classroom without freaking out the students too much. Hence the transformation into his yellow form.

I believe it was explained very briefly that when he left facility, he said the tentacles asked him what he wanted to be and that’s basically what he wanted to look like. He pretty much changed his appearance to look more friendly to teach and cut his strength that he had before

So in an attempt to be as specific as possible, Korosensei is yellow and funny looking because the tentacles within him *quite literally* asked him what he wants to be, as in what his mission statement is after being granted new strength. Korosensei's response to that question was that he wanted to be the complete opposite of what he was leading up to that point (the Reaper, renowned assassin/personification of death). He further explained that he wanted to be weak, since it was his strength-driven ambitions that led him to deliberately becoming a test subject that turned him into a tentacle creature, which in turn brought on the eventual destruction of the Lab and the death of the teacher he ended up loving. His initial appearance after transformation was more humanoid and sinister; Given his new goal to teach Class E, he decided he wanted to be perceived as a weaker, more approachable being at first glance, which is why he looks so goofy - its the reason he has a literal smiley face for a head, and has such comical proportions. A good example of the opposite case would be Itona; he had an inferiority complex and constant desire for approval, so he asked the tentacles to simply become the strongest of them all, which is why he was so rageful and tunnel-visioned on killing Korosensei, the strongest one there. Hopefully this is a fair explanation on why he looks drastically different from his original form

Korosensei looks that way he does because he asked to be weak. Everyone who has had tentacles were asked what they wanted to be Itona wanted to be strong kayano wanted revenge the fake reaper only has hatred. When korosensei first turned he was white probably because he was happy killing and wanted freedom, He turned black when he was sad and hurt because of what happened with kayano sister his love. Then when the tentacles finally asked him what he wanted to be he said weak. So he was given a from that would not scare a form a child would draw he was able to change colors for his emotions and cam off pretty funny looking most of the time. So the reason korosensei looks that way he does is because he is “weak”.

They already watched Noragami back b4 they started reacting so that will never happen unless a new season of Noragami comes out... like with Overlord which they dropped after S1 due to pepega/toxic viewers and them not being as "professional" as they are now in dealing with such situation

This wasn't even the series that they stopped watching lol This is literally their first run through for this series. Only anime they ever stopped watching was Overlord, not AssClass.
