Yah, they were dropping hints about her for a long time. Only issue I have with the Anime vs Manga is they left one part out where the government guy states early in the manga that there's a mole in there. Even looks at Kayno but the focus of the art was on Nagisa. The blink and you miss it points that showed who she was: Never in water. Always either floating on something or in a boat. Very quick flash of her creepy smile when she said it's good to have a hidden blade with her failed jello assassin. The stories they told early on about a student getting sent to E class for breaking something in the principals office. I think there may have been a few more, but those are the ones I remember.

Also fun fact if you really think about because she had tentacles that's why she didn't want to swim with the other students in the lake episode. Due to sharing the same weakness koro sensei has.

you gotta think how dumb kayano is. Shes studied koro long enough to know that he would not hurt her under any circumstance. The special energy attack was a fake out to make her drop her guard so he could escape while she panics.

he did that so HE could get away because HE was panicking. had she not done anything to guard or evade she wouldve taken damage as well but at that point koro knows she can take care of herself with the tentacles. wasn't dumb on her part at all

I think they did the reveal that way on purpose. They show you so much metaphorical shit that you're supposed to react like Lupa and be like... "Wait WTF? Is that real??" Like what they did with Reiner and Bertholdt's reveal in AoT. You're just like... bruh is this real right now?
