Recommending "TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You" as a replacement when you get there. Great Rom-com, and is a bit different then many of the cliche ones.

I second on recommending TONIKAWA. One of my favorite romcoms and definitely different than most romcoms in a good way

Minori didnt want to get in the way of Ryuji and Taiga, which is kinda why she turned him down. Then when she saw the picture of Taiga and Kitamura in Taiga's School wallet that she dropped during the fight, Ami makes that line of, you dont need to feel guilty. Ami does care for Ryuji, but she hates the fact that he's being stagnate, or that he's not willing to be open about his feeling to anyone.

Seen a few others recommend it but Tonikawa is probably my 2nd favorite slice of life romcom just behind toradora, I think it'd be perfect to replace this show since we're down to the last section of the anime

Tonikawa is so good, a breath of fresh air. I'd 100% prefer this to Nagatoro for example wich is the opposite.

Tonikawa is great dont get me wrong, but i think ' Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo' would make a better reaction. its an anime where everyone is just aweful. think kinda like konosuba, but in a school with bench-kun who is far more horrifying then truck-kun.

Idk if they were to go right into a new show it should hopnestly be Golden Time. Since its by the same Author as Toradora and IMO the better of the two, since its based in college and not HS and has a bit more complex/dramatic story. Both amazing but GT would be best as a follow up imo

well I mean Sheera and Roshi usually have a romance/slice of life anime they do together right. so when Toradora and Komi end, itll be replaced by a new romance/slice of life. which they aren't similar at all. they just have the same Author

Golden Time and Toradora have pretty much zero in common aside from being good shows by the same author. Since golden time has a setting in college vs. Toradora which has a setting in high school, their vibe is completely different. (Highschool romcoms are kinda overdone imo). But yeah, Golden Time would be a lit follow-up show.

Him being a teenager isn't the reason for anything, it's just a person's comfortability to express oneself... I had no problems asking people out when I was younger than him. Also, yes, I would say Ami likes him for the fact that he helped her. Confidence is definitely not something that everyone has, and that's what makes Ryuji a humanizing character.
