If you take the conversation with Minori and Ryuuji and replace the word "ghost" with "love" and the word "see" with "fall in" you basically get that Minori wants to fall in love but she never understood the concept of falling in love and can't connect with people who are in love. She said she is close to giving up falling in love but Ryuuji basically told her that he hopes she's able to fall in love someday.

i always thought the ghost conversation was an analogy to falling in love and not understanding the concept. like never seeing one; never liking someone, never believing in ghosts; never understanding love, and stuff like that. if i recall correctly that's what that convo meant just avoiding saying it outright
