When I heard it was going to do the comics I thought maybe it would be like Long Halloween where it would be 2 parts at least. I can't believe they sped so much up and fucking killed the damn Flash. Lupa's rant on this movie has fully made me want to read through the comics. Like to shove 5 years of content and character development into a 1-hour long movie is ridiculous. I need to see how Superman, a shining symbol of justice, spirals down properly to the vicious dictator, and not so rushed

Don't know if the sale is still ongoing on the Playstation Store, but you can get the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition for something like 15 dollars. Just have to buy the base game and the Ultimate Pack upgrade. Both are/were on sale. The Legendary Edition, on its own, is at full price though.

If this was their intention, then my advice would have been to do the Video Game Injustice story instead. It's done from the perspective of the Justice League members that were brought over to the Injustice Universe. So it's the last 10 minutes of this movie, but properly fleshed out and makes you curious as to how things got this way in the first place.

They really should have done what Batman the Long Halloween did and split it into two parts. Both movies were around an hour and 30 minutes. My point being splitting the movie into parts would have given them enough time to tell the story that needed to be told instead of resorting to a rushed plot.

i only read the first "season" of injustice at the time it was released so a lot of this i dont remember/know but the beginning i will never forget. how lois died was totally different and i cant say it was better.....harley and arrow's buddy cop thing was on point...a lot of characters like black canary are missing. if this was done in a series of movies it could have worked but lupa is right, this could have been a whole series. well mini series. pushing everything into one 90 minute film just aint it. but NOT knowing all the changes i liked it for what it was

I disagree about Batman getting The Atom killed. If it were just Superman and Wonder Woman, there is no way they could have gotten him out of Superman's head. Of course the movie is horrible if you've read the source material and there's nothing wrong with pointing it out but it's kinda annoying hearing Lupa every 20 secs complain that they skipped certain scenes every chance he gets. Like Lupa get's annoyed when manga readers constantly complain about the My Villain Academia arc so you would think he'd try being chill during the reaction. Like at least complain/rant at the end of the reaction instead of spoiling everything for Roshi and Sheera.

If y'all are interested in the Injustice comics, y'all should check out the Kingdom Come Superman comics. It's like an alternate version of Injustice where the joker kills everyone in the daily planet and lois lane, but Superman does not cross the line of killing the joker, but another superhero does and Superman is against them. It came out in 1996 but it's an interesting opposite to the injustice line of events

Ngl, if this movie is just a standalone film without any connection to the game/comic itself, this one would be good. It really is a bad adaptation but it does not mean it is a bad film. It was decent as a standalone but it really is hard to compare with the original story with all the things they skipped. I mean, the whole Injustice is pretty hard to adapt so yeah, might be an animated series that would be their better option than a movie since this is pretty hard to adapt into one film. When I watched this, I was waiting for Supergirl to appear or Black Adam the whole second half but yeah. I would at least give this a 6/10. It is a decent film by itself but having its name associated with the game itself, that gives a lot of points taken out.

Diana isn't the only one that can swap hands with Injustice Superman. Captain Atom was whooping Superman's ASS in the comics (because he's always been depicted as stronger or his equal). But Diana cut his skin/armored shell and Caused him to explode, killing in the process before Cap could body Supes. In fact, there were SO many instances where Injustice Superman could have been beaten by someone (Martian Manhunter, The Guardians, Captain Atom, etc.) But the writers conveniently wrote the story so Superman would narrowly escape or cheaply beat them just to get rid of that problem all together. Trust me, there's a LOT of characters that can subdue Superman in the Justice League. Hell, Superman can't even touch John Constantine in the New 52 comics (one of most OP mages in all of fiction) without dropping to his knees in agony from entering his protective ward lol

A nice touch is that it's mentioned in passing from Damian that Batman has a contingency plan for EVERY justice league member (seen more in detail in the justice league doom movie). The ice bomb batman used against Amazo when he was using Plastic man's powers is exactly the plan batman has against the actual plastic man (use sub zero temperatures to stop him from manipulating his molecules).

Ugh God the complaints it's a stand alone movie it's gonna be different while still the same. Looka at every movie out none of them follow the comics be it gender, ethnicity or so on. Comic readers stick to comics I promise it won't hurt is much I learned my lesson reading a manga after the anime and see so much was left out. If your gonna watch something after reading expect disappointment and be happy if it holds true. But please don't ruin it.
