It's still possible that the person that killed the girl wasn't a part of the people that made the game. She might have just been killed for some other reason and the creators just took advantage of the situation. That would make more sense than just randomly killing her. It would mean that they definitely have gremlins setting things up fast as heck though.

I don’t think they killed her as part of the game all we know is those 2 girls know something and if you go back the rules said fine the killer but it excluded woman!!! So the game told you a male killed her basically I think those girls were valuable in some way

10 of Hearts game, definitely a curveball lol. I like seeing the theories in the comments! This game is definitely one where a shrewd viewer could figure out who the witch is well before the answer is given, making it a pretty neat detective game. Try to solve it during the next episode!

Yeah I don’t remember there being smartphones in the original manga, so they shouldn’t have any bearing on events like that unless they change the plot like in the first episode. In the manga, the first game was actually a quiz game where the answers were numerical and for every number your guess was off from the answer, an equal number of flaming arrows would be shot at the game venue(it was outdoors). So the smartphones only have been a factor in the new game.

Alice in Borderlands has a way of maintaining tension and empathy hand in hand with consistent character motivations, something I felt Squid Game faltered at consistently. Even if the last episode felt incredibly weak (very over the top anime-y), the season as a whole was surprisingly lean and wickedly fun. Love how you guys have been invested so far, and can't wait to see if ya'll solve the murder riddle before the show reveals it.

Agreed, I think the only thing Squid Game has on AiB is better acting (outside of the VIPs lmao). Ep 6 is great but the drop in quality in the later episodes is very obvious
