So, the obvious symbolism in the OP, all those flowers are lilies, called Yuri in Japanese and we all know what Yuri is slang for, right?

The Japanese term for lily flowers is "yuri". The Japanese term for girls having a close relationship, usually GirlxGirl stuff, is also called "yuri", after the flower. Suruga running through a sea of lilies to get to Senjougahara in the OP is pretty self-explanatory.

If you didnt notice then all OPs are sang by the VA of main heroine of the arc. Just a little trivia. Now when it comes to why everything is weird, like the same cars driving around, Hanekawa standing in the middle of the road. Well, what we see isn't actually whats happening and there is an explanation which I will talk about once you guys finish watching the movies. (you may want to play attention to the world while watching movies tho)

About that call with Hanekawa. There might be some deeper meaning or something for why we can't hear Araragi, but the way I took it was simply that we can get the of the conversation solely from Hanekawa's responses (asking about Kanbaru and Senjougahara's relationship in middle school). It didn't cut out or anything, Araragi's lines are simply unnecessary.
