Comments

Justin (Nyght)

did i miss the reason or statement that said you guys were skipping openings, i only asked bc i think that was a new op right? or was it last episode ? lol well o well

15 episodes later, Lupa learns Kiritsugu has a daughter.

KevMath

Sabers op bro

Grayson

Who lost a baby? Am I dumb? I completely missed that

13

Rider DOES respect her. But cannot accept her way of kingship because it goes so much against what he believes a king should stand for

auxag

But he seems to think they lost it. Yet Kiritsugu and Irisviel instead left Illya at home. Guess we'll have to wait a bit longer for him to realize that, unless he reads these comments.

AUO

i was waiting for artoria to shine!

auxag

to be fair this OP is a lil spoilery. Though i would love to seem them watch it. ep 23 would be safe. ep24 would be the last time it shows up.

He's talking about Illya. She's not dead, though. They just weren't dumb enough to bring her to Japan for the murderfest, so she's hanging out in their German castle with the maids.

Grayson

Oh got it. I always knew Illya was alive tho. I was trying to figure out which baby they were talking about, I guess they are a bit confused as to why they are not showing Illyia

OldManMag

I always love Casters final words. Even as the monster he is when he saw the light of Excalibur at the moment of death, even he remembered why he was loyal to Joan or at least wanted to be and thought "what have i...done?" even with the last word cut off.

Jakob

Prolly the only time the crew will see Jeanne, RIP

Grayson

Well, of course he was loyal to Joan, the reason Gilles de Rais became a sick fuck was because he couldn't save her

Krispin

Matthew B

wait what miscarriage? or are you just clowning and im dumb

Chris

Am I the only one who is going to miss Castor and his Master. They were such a great pairing 😥

baja

Im still confused on why gil like aurthuria so much, is it because she brought hell upon herself and took the hell of every other person alone? If so, it makes sense. As he is the pinnacle of human greatness in fate series. I think he sees her as a human who dared to step on that level even though she failed. Ps : gil respect iskandar a lot, he is the other end of arthuria spectrum as a hero except he succeeded

Shaw

He likes unique treasures and she is one in human form.

Aswind

I think you guys skipped the new oppening. It might have been a mistake on my part and i , for some reason, didn’t notice your reaction to it

You've gotta remember that Gilgamesh's whole myth is about gods being pissed at him for defying them, so he has to keep beating them up, which gets even more gods pissed at him. He sees humans as creatures full of potential and tragedy, while the gods are boring garbage (and he's one of the main reasons gods don't exist in modern times since he was the first major act of human rebellion against them, as far as Fate's universe lore goes). Saber is pretty much the epitome of everything he loves about humanity. It also explains why he likes watching Kirei's story play out, while hating a person like Tohsaka who lives a safe life. Although in the original Visual Novel, it really was just because Saber was powerful and accomplished a lot. Fate/Zero kind of rewrote his character to be more nuanced, which is how every later iteration of the franchise portrays him.

Reign

no gilgamesh could 1000% kill that monster in 1 shot lol

BZD

Exuuuu-Caliburrrr!

Anonymous

yeah gilgamesh is kinda busted he just doesn't get too much limelight

Ace The FireDragon

Excalibur is very strong. Rider's noble phantasm was unable to even restrict the thing for extended period of time, but saber's excalibur literally 1-shot it.
