this episode is just an overall amazing feat by the voice actors, being able tomake a madeup language sound so natural and real and on top of that it was almost for the entire episode

Isn't it hypocritical that Rudeus say you shouldn't kill but right before that homegirl with the red hair literally killed a whole a bunch of wolf/dog creatures in broad daylight? I like the show a lot, I just don't like his one-sided viewpoint.

I don't really consider it hypocritical because what Rudeus meant was killing people in that context. The wolf creatures are actual monsters that they've already been killing for their own survival like many other creatures they've killed along the way. The point is focused more on the implications rather than its literal meaning. If we took Rudy's words literally, then yea it is obviously hypocritical, but that misses the point Rudy was trying to make. We should be taking Rudy's word in context to what he actually meant

I never said I disagree that they should kill the ones attacking them. I would have done the same obviously. I was saying when Rudeus told the Superd, "killing is bad", after the animal adventurer literally could have harmed Rudeus permanently with the one kick, at that point, you become a threat and in my eyes, you gotta go.

The intelligence of the creature is the issue here not the killing itself. The cockroach dude was intelligent enough to speak and understand things whereas the wolves were just hostile animals.

No, Rudeus' point is you shouldn't kill if it's not necessary. Those people were already prisoners. Different from those wolf/dog creatures or animals that need to hunt for food.
