I know this is 3 years late....but I totally just noticed that. I thought it was the sequid...then I thought....how would the human still be down on Mars...then it hit me. It makes sense just in case they tried to escape to have a decoy....but hit me just now.

After watching the episode on my own I think what we saw at the end was either the demons notebook with whatever he's collected on the guardians murder case or a recording of him getting threatened in his office.

Okay, so I think y'all missed it when Cecil said it, but they found dried guardian blood in Damien's office, so they exorcised him. Someone set him up

I'mma call it right now. Damien planted some sort of damning evidence in their house probably so the wife or son could find it, as he was last in that closet before confronting Cecil, hearing the teleportation, also due to Nolan's veiled threat that no one would take Damien's side anyway. My guess is, Nolan's people are actually just conquerors, which is how they brought "peace" to the galaxy and such, also why they threw in that little bit about Nolan lamenting Julius Ceasar's(THE conqueror) person being reduced to a tourist attraction. "Viltrumite sounds eerily reminiscent of "villain" to me, and that world betterment committee is definitely bullshit. Probably more like world conquering council or some shit, and he's slowly trying to get his son to "see" that they have to rule the humans to "save" them from themselves. Also yeah I'm pretty sure that alien replaced that human and is probably gonna be a thing later on when they probably attack earth. Robot is either trying to clone and replace Rex, or make his own human body...or both tbh? Also a side note, I'm guessing Black Sampson had some sort of superhuman strength or durability relating to his hair length, but somehow went bald, thus the suit. Anyways love the reactions! I hope y'all continue to enjoy the show. P.S. I'm pretty sure Run The Jewels were the artists behind this episode's soundtrack. Dope.

I think the robot is trying to create a super being capable of killing Omni-man. If he's actually working with Cecil. If not, maybe he's trying to make himself a body. He had a moment earlier with monster girl saying he could relate to her. Being looked at as one thing, and being another thing on the inside. So, I don't think he's actually just a robot. Also, I think the Astronaut that got replaced was a Martian.
