What's up everyone I'm here with another update on Late Checkout! As usual the link and pass is at the bottom.

For the most part I've conceptualized the final core mechanic that allows the player to use something called "WIllpower" in order to progress through a scene. I've always had a major issue in DID games in which the player was always trying to get a game over scene in order to see the content.  This meant trying to actively fail an event. With this final core mechanic I'm attempting to reward the player for succeeding instead of trying to fail.  In order to "progress" the scene (Clothes gets destroyed, more restraints gets added, etc...) they now have try and choose the correct options through either context or inspecting the area they're in. Admitting defeat just ends the scene early, and a quick Revitalization in the respawn room! You can give this system a try in the room Lily spawns in by interacting with the golden statues.

I've also been tweaking the combat and finally created a system I really enjoy. Next month I'm gonna post my yearly Halloween project that uses this system for everyone to try out and see if they like. If everyone likes it then I'll be using it in Late Checkout :)
