I've made a lot of progress in modelling this adult diaper. The old version had overlapping faces and separate objects for the tabs.  This new version is all one piece, and should be animatable!  Except, don't expect animation on the stretches and crinkles; I'm not quite there yet.

This new diaper is now modular, with different variations on the crinkles for the tabs, the legs and the waist!  Now I can use the same model without it looking like the same diaper every time! Yay!

I still have a way to go,  I need to add another crinkle layer around the borders of the padding, and then I can get to actually texturing it.  It is just shown here with a viewport preview metallic shader, the finished one will of course be plastic (with rubber options)


I picked metallic because it shows all the crinkles I sculpted better!  I sculpted them each by hand with some custom made fold/crease brushes, all of which I will soon make available to patrons!

I also developed a shader network that is able to randomize between all the different normal maps that I baked from the high res sculpture, and some useful node groups that I will also make available to patrons soon.
