Greetings Patrons,

I'm continuing to remaster these early SoundPads, and making them available as Patreon exclusive downloads.

Please don't share these files. They are for you, dear patrons, and you alone!

The website versions will most likely stay as they are for the time being, but these re-mastered audio files are of higher quality than what appears online (bandwidth/cost issues) and have been tweaked to the standards of the later SoundPads.

The format for these will be .ogg as it's superior to mp3 for looping purposes as well as quality/filesize considerations.

As with most Patreon content, the simplest way to access it is via the Tabletop Audio website. As each SoundPad is remastered, a "Download on Patreon" button will appear on the page. That link will take you to the appropriate post.

If there are any Multi-part sounds (denoted by the x2, x4, etc on the website), they will be split into individual sounds as they would require the SoundPad engine to play properly. e.g.

Originally released on 30 November 2015, Combat was designed as a medieval battle simulator. It contained building blocks for various types of battles, from large-scale conflicts to small skirmishes. Multiple weapon attacks are included, as well as magic spells. Additionally, the 8 trap sounds included were subsequently added to the original Dungeon SoundPad.

Combat made heavy use of the x2, x3, x4 type sounds originally introduced in Starship for creating variety out of common actions, e.g. sword hits. In the online SoundPad engine, a x4 sound would play 1 of 4 available sounds every time the action was triggered.

For this downloadable version, each of the x2 etc sounds are divided into individual sounds, hence 53 sounds instead of the original 38.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim
