There's something about sheer vintage clothing that makes me feel like my essence is timeless - or invinceable. I feel like a vampiress angel, a vixen from the 1800s- or perhaps her ghost because any woman who expressed herself back then was murdered (by men) for "witchery", or possibly lobotomized for "hysteria" (an old school term used for women who expressed horniness... it was punishably by public humiliation, life in an insane asylum, or death).

Today I do feel like a Goddess, but I am still human. I am limitless but I still feel fear, I am resilient but I am not immortal, I am youthful but I still age. I am a professional model, yet I have unique imperfections. 

This set by CVongsawat shows me in all my glory, basking in my beauty. This was shot in a place I rented in NYC earlier this year, I will return there in February! Who wants to shoot?

I have just 3 more days on this tour, it's been exciting but filled with stress. I have enjoyed working with the creative photographers who have booked me (except that one guy i mentioned in my last post...) but I am on the brink of homesickness now. 

Sometimes I wonder to myself if the 2 week homesickness is a "self limiting belief" and I should just go on longer tours and give myself more time to relax between shoots... but then I think about my family and loved ones at home... it's a two sided coin. It's such a blessing to have a home life and community. I want to have my cake and eat it too... but sometimes I put too much on my agenda travel-wise. 

I had a flight cancellation from Melbourne to Sydney the other day and I lost out on two bookings as a result :( I slept on the floor at the melbourne airport, no accomodation vouchers were given by the airline because the cancellations were weather related (...wind...)

Anyway I am excited for my Brisbane shoots the next 3 days :) thank you for cheering me on! I appreciate the heck out of you all so very much!! Words cannot describe my gratitude :)
