Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Patreon release! We hope you enjoyed an early preview of what we’re working on. We’d like to know... What would you like us to focus on for future Patreon Preview releases?

tbh what I'm most looking forward in this emulator atm is smo being fully playable in a decent way, to achieve this not only performance needs to improve, but also the timming and svc peaks problems absolutely need to be solved. I'm really excited for yuzu's future! Thank you all very much for the amazing work!

Definitely Smash Ultimate

Yeah, it would be great to get SMO just playable for most people and let them enjoy that while other things are being worked on . ;)

not on the list but would love to see native 4k rendering sooner than anything else :)

You guys are already doing amazing performance wise, I myself would like to see more games booting. Perhaps getting the audio working a bit better would be nice too.

oh god oh fuck not another patreon build

Package as linux SNAP please !

Please take libretro into account, so one day you can have a separate build that integrates into retroarch as a core. Like Dolphin did. Even if it's not for right now, but at least tidying the code to align with the libretro standards would be awesome. :) I think the libretro team can guide you for this.

Performance above all else, without a doubt. SMO still runs like a one-legged dog on my mid-tier PC, and I'd really like to be able to play through it in full since it's unlikely I'll ever be able to afford a Switch, even used.

Multicore please

Both citra and yuzu (as a fork of citra) are designed to be modular and adding a libretro frontend doesn't require changing the core (too much). The biggest issue is maintaining the libretro frontend, as yuzu already has 2 frontends, a command line one and the one everyone uses, and keeping feature parity between them. It greatly adds to the workload of the devs when trying to add new features, so its not a priority. If someone who is dedicated to working on libretro feels like maintaining the yuzu libretro fork, similar to how citra libretro works, this is something that is perfectly acceptable. At this point in time, theres nothing that needs to be done to support libretro, and also no plans to move forward with a libretro frontend.

I agree with the ability to modify the internal resolution (4K). Also, with Mario Maker 2 coming in June 2019, I'd want online functionality as top priority, even if it's like Cemu and requires dump of files from a real Switch. I'd be willing to increase my pledge if I had a guarantee that you started work on that.

Voted for Vulkan, hopefully reintroducing MacOS builds with MoltenVK. Other than that, core accuracy and stability since that will benefit all games in the end.

I think it would be more practical to try to emulate many features that make more games "work better". So you would learn more about the performance requirements and improve them. Say after the agile approach first get everything running and then improve :)

I would love XC2 to be in a playable state but I'd capitalizing on Cemu's experience, I'd much prefer we achieve that while raising the overall stability & performance & accuracy of the core rather than rush to bells and whistle. If Patreon supports slows down or proves insufficient, we may then pick a flagship Switch exclusive and focus on it in order to gather supporters but it'd be great if the project needn't come to that.

I think vulkan would be a big step. It won't necessarily improve performance for nvidia users, but it would be great if more people could use yuzu properly.

Stability and core accurary is probably most important right now.

I really would like to see Zelda or Super Mario Party run well.
