Hello friends! It was a lot of work, but I'm happy to present to you all the next Spelljammer Sihp! The Star Moth is massive, and the tallest of the ships I've made so far. This was an excellent sculpting and modeling project. I made two versions, with one being tiny for ship to ship encounters, and a full sized one that you can walk minis on :)

The wings are enormous, and due to their shape and size keying them was impractical. If you do print them, which obviously isn't necessary for game play, though... it would be cool... I recommend using Gloop to glue the pieces together. Its an amazing adhesive that chemically combines the 3D printing material that you use. Once the wings are printed you need to use the ship stand, which is in three pieces, to hold this up with the wings turning it into a tripod.

The assembly if the wings can be tough to figure out so I made two guide images included in this post. Most of the files are on this post too, but given some files were too large for an upload here I have the link here to the Google folder with the rest of them.

My take on the Star Moth Spelljammer Ship is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.

More to come tomorrow! Enjoy!
