Hello friends! Thank you all for your kind words over the weekend. I'm happy to report I'm feeling 100% better! I'm still taking the recommended covid precautions and will test again in a few days. Either way the lethargy is gone and I'm very excited to get back to creating free minis for you all! Today I tapped into the Request Board and made this Cold Weather Axe Beak!

This fluffy bird was a lot of fun to sculpt up, rig and pose. I also enjoyed making a mount / beast of burden version but also a regular wild one. Its rigged up if you want to make other poses too :)

Full files are here and in the Rime of the Frostmaiden folder. For FDM users I recommend printing it on its side. For resin users I uploaded a presupported file as usual.

My take on the Cold Weather Axe Beak is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.

More to come tomorrow! Enjoy!

You know... It's not a far cry to convert that to a TaunTaun... just saying... ;)

Certainly not using those after having DMed Icewind Dale, to use as a chocobo replacement in my next homebrew setting.... I would never... be able to resist this temptation

Any tips on how to print universal mounted PCs to use with several mounts? I love the idea of having combinable minis!

Be sure to check if it actually fits in the 3D space before putting them together. You might have to size up or down the mount depending on the PC you use
