Thanks to everyone who voted for the silly model this month! The winner is the Beerholder, which I 3D modeled this morning. This was a rather silly model and I really enjoyed working on it. That smile really makes me wary of enjoying a drink with him but meh, he's probably trustworthy why not?

I know there are other iterations of this monster online but I'm pretty happy with my own take on it. I added a dude bro baseball cap given that just adds more to the frat boy nature of this model. I think a "Broholder" would be another good nickname for him haha. I used a creative commons model for that hat to save time given its such a basic object.

Also today I worked on another Spelljammer ship! This one is the complex Damselfly, which should be ready by tomorrow. Its been a lot of fun to model up so far. Like all ships there will be a small version for ship to ship combat and a massive one to actually use in your games ;)

My takes on beholders and the Damselfly Ship is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.

More to come tomorrow! Enjoy!

Technically 2 Spelljammer minis, ha ha. There is a beholder who owns/runs a tavern on the Rock of Bral. Awesome work on both!

Speaking of Spelljammer - any chance of a Dreameater mini any time soon? I really wanna send one of those at my players, but there is no mini out there for it.

After the ships I'm going in the order you all voted me to go and when I feel like it so sorry it won't be for a while. My primary focus is still the Tome of Beasts.

No worries. Heck with the way you can crank out the sculpts that'll be in no time. :D

Seeing that Damselfly makes me wish that you'd take on the Dreamseed/Traumsaat from Engel at some point. Probably not gonna happen but a girl can dream~♡

I love the beerholder! Can't wait to print and paint that one. Glad it won.
