Hello friends! With the Yuan-ti complete its pretty clear by next week I'll be wrapped up from A to Z in my Monster Manual Updates! This is about two years of work and its nice to get near the end. But now comes the long slog of updating the Appendices. Given most of the files in there were fine to begin with, and some are remixes of Creative Commons animal models found around the web in theory it shouldn't take more than a month. And the NPCs can be remixed from existing adventurer models. But it all sounds rather dull doesn't it?

So what about mixing it up a little? Maybe one day I just work on requests from that very random request board and other days its Appendix updates? It would take longer for me to complete this though, and it'd be nice to work on Wild Beyond the Witchlight or some other book *stomp stomp*

And no, I'm not skipping the Appendices. Besides being a completionist people do still need worgs, devil dogs, pirates and scouts here and there. So they're happening one way or another.

Thus I'm letting you all now decide how I'll proceed! Plow through the Appendices and just get it done, or mix it up to keep things interesting. You decide :D

Dude, you are an artist. I support you following your artistic vision and drive, 100%.

Yeah but you guys are also supporting my efforts so I felt you should all have a say on this. Plus I'm equally interested in either options so I felt its more fun to see what you guys think :)

You're the best!

Do appendix 1 day a week request 1 day, silly 1 day, then start working on a new book the rest of the week.

I like Deneb's idea

Sorry but that's not what I'd want to do. I'd like to focus on finishing this book first before making a poll to see what book to work on next.

Those appendices are too damn useful to miss. Probably the "most printed" miniatures. So great you are taking them on... again :) But certainly spice them up with requests. You have the privilege to do something you enjoy doing for a living... but you need to keep the fun element in there so it never feels like a slog.

Work on whatever inspires you at that moment!

Really excited to see the comparison shot of some of the old appendices models vs. the new ones (looking at the death dog!)

I'm most excited for all the neat, unusual stuff that comes out of the Request board, but since you mention Wild Beyond the Witchlight, that's not a bad thing to work on either! There's a fair number of unique-looking NPCs in it that would make really neat minis. There's a dandelion knight and a cyclops beekeeper! But yeah, sculpt whatever you want! The best models are gonna be the ones you have fun making, so have fun!

I'm excited for more from the Tome of Beasts and Creature Codex, so I'm all for plowing through the beasties in the Appendices.
