Bruce always struggles with understanding his own feelings. That's why he is also bad at expressing them. Fortunately, Jesper on the other hand, is really good at empathy, socializing, and expressing/interpreting his own and others' feelings. But of course, due to his small body, Jesper has weaknesses too. He is not even close to Bruce in terms of physical strength and masculinity which makes him an easy target.
