Development art for an upcoming commission, and of course it's Petina's favorite subject....not. It's interesting that's that there's a whole family of spiders referred to as Pholcidae or Cellar Spiders. There area also referred to as Daddy Long Legs and there's 1,800 different types. Which my muse is not thrilled to hear.

     For this commission I'll be drawing unnaturally (Tarantula size) version of the Long Body Cellar Spider. Petina doesn't care which type I end up drawing  because she'll be out of the office as I work on the piece.

Why do 2 of those spiders only have seven legs?
