Rain pounded Gilda as she swooped down out of the leaden skies and then flared and landed. Cursing under her breath she quickly fished a key and unlocked the front door of her cottage. Then she hurried on in.

"Stupid weather ponies and their schedules." The griffin muttered.

Pausing in the foyer the griffin paused and rung out her thoroughly soaked t-shirt. Undoing the back fasteners on the shirt she removed the still dripping garment. Then she unbuckled and unzipped her her equally wet cutoff demin shorts. She paused and looked at the buckle on the belt she was wearing. Engraved on nickel silver buckle was a single word.

Birdie

The gift was from her recently made friend Fluttershy, and it was only because of the smile on the mare's face that she wore it. Still a slight smile spread across Gilda's face as she picked up the drenched garments.

"Silly pony." She said to herself as she walked toward the bathroom where she'd dry off.

This is final drawing and another request that I started during my most recent Picarto stream. The theme was weather, and this is the story that popped into my head as I was doing the drawing.

Nice! Also, a Birdie buckle? That is surprising.

Aww, Gilda does care!

It shows how much she's changing as an individual, and Flutters did make big, sad eyes at her.
