A few years ago several people commented that they felt that some of my grimdark work had a vibe or feel rather like the video game Bloodborne

I have never played the game, but I've watched some YouTube videos on the game, and yeah I can see where they're coming from. Especially some of the costuming the characters wear and some of the eldritch creatures that inhabit the world. So I thought it would be amusing to do some anthro MLP drawings with characters from the series dressed like Hunters in the game. And yes I will be doing Applebloom as a Hunter. However I decided to Moondancer first.

Now some of you might be looking at that piece of artillery in Moondancer's hand and you might be thinking. Nah! No way! That's crazy! It's way too bad! However it is a real firearm. It's a wheellock hand mortar from the 17th century used to launch fireworks, but I could see it used to launch other types of arcane/alchemic payloads.

For those who are curious, our friend Ian at Forgotten Weapons has done a video on weapon very similar to this. Link

Yeah, come to think of it, your grimdark style really does fit with Bloodborne.

And this whole genre of your grimdark art style makes me very happy. Love the outfit here especially!

I'm not familliar with Bloodborne at all, so the first thing that came to mind for me was Warhammer Fantasy.
