Sweet Treats WIP 01 (Patreon)

Today was a very busy day in the studio plus I had lunch and did a  framing consultation with a client. This is the current big commission  that I am tackling.

    If you've been following me you've seen the development art for this piece.  Well it is finally coming together as a finished work.

    Now if you follow me on Twitter Baron's Twitter you've been seeing the how these pieces come together with me, and  you'd be aware that I will use marker pens sometimes to do  under-painting of my pieces before I apply the colored pencil. However  some piece seem to use very little marker work Field of Battle while with other pieces is serves a critical role in my success with an illustration. After Workout

     Well for this current picture the marker under-painting is absolutely  critical to me pulling off this picture. So I spent several hours today  carefully trying to get all the marker work done. It might seem like a  lot of work but it will save me hours when start the colored pencil, and  will make for a better picture over all.
