Music video update! 1 (Patreon)

Process! I blocked out the structure of the video by composing static 'shots', mostly panning over background. In my research phase I was watching a lot of anime intros: because of the feeling of storytelling potential they have, balanced with clever work distributing effort across the shots.

Since I'm a one person team, the goal was to block out the whole video with (relatively) low-effort background pans, and then to build up animation into it from there. If you're going really hard animation wise, it's easy to really break your back and end up with like, 4 seconds done, so I'm approaching it from the opposite position.

Lineart mostly done with a brush pen, then converted into a vector and colored in Flash.
