Patreon Exclusive Script Comparison: Your First (and Last?) Time With Your Praying Mantis Girlfriend (Patreon)

Heyo, Patrons! Velvet here with a new script comparison post, the first of many to come in the near future.

And gosh, it's been over a year since I did one of these! But I plan to knock out a bunch of these over the next few weeks, and I thought I'd start with one of the shorter scripts I expanded for the channel. In case you don't remember my goals when editing/expanding a script, I wrote a long post about that ages ago right over here!

The basic gist if you want to skip that: I want scripts to be as strong, engaging, youtube-friendly and on-brand as possible when I perform them. I've been very lucky that writers have let me (lovingly) mangle their work to shape their stories to fit my channel best and help make them more unique! It's tough to stand out when ASMRtists/VAs perform the same scripts multiple times, and my solution is weird performance/sound design choices and cheap jokes. It's worked for me so far, haha.

Your First (and Last?) Time With Your Praying Mantis Girlfriend was part of the first Monster Girl Mayhem event in 2022. It was by yandere_enjoyer, a writer I've worked with quite a few times; they sadly deleted their account sometime last year, though their scripts are still up. (Here is the original ASMR Script Haven post for this script, as a matter of fact!)

The script was originally quite short, and would have been around five minutes of finished audio, so I expanded it. Ten minutes is the minimum if you don't want the algorithm to bury you. I had a lot of fun with this one, but then...I always do!
