I had never heard of the concept of the Utility Monster before. It might be a good hook to catch out people who claim to act for "The Good Of Humanity" or "The Greater Good" (capitalisation intentional 😁).

The bible says not to bear false witness against your neighbors. It has nothing to say about bearing false witness against those barbarians in the next village.
