In germany it's common to say "Gesundheit!" (health) when someone sneezes. Lately there is the idea to say nothing at all to not further interrupt and to not embarrass the one sneezing by putting them into the spotlight. But as soon as one of the group reacts, every one will and you will be looked upon as beeing uncompassionate if you don't. While it is common not to react to soneone coughing, you are mostlikely expected to apologize if you are the one coughing.

Although the Easter customs aren't pagan I wonder if Bede was right about the word Easter being based on a goddess or if he made it all up

In German Easter is Ostern. This sounds enough like Easter that they probably have a common origin, which could very well be a god. In Croatian it's Uskra, which also sounds quite similar, although I know nothing about Croatian, so I can't be at all sure.
