The growth rate you give near 4:57 can't be right. Start with one person, and a growth rate of 24000%. After one year you'd have 240 people. After 2, you'd have 57,000. After 3, 14 million. After 4, over 3 billion. If my calculation is right, then starting with 5000, to reach 2.4e9 in 1935 years (the value in the video is a bit blurry, but that shouldn't matter much), you'd need a growth rate of 0.678%.

Maybe you're right? I don't know. I'm really bad at math, which is why I used a calculator that does the math for you...and I put in a bunch of numbers for which I knew what the answer should be, and it was always right. But yeah, that is definitely the part of this video that I am the least confident about. Maybe I did something wrong, maybe there's something wrong with the calculator that I used that wasn't apparent for the scenarios that I tested it with, I dunno...but that doesn't really affect the overall point of my video. (Also, that's why I showed the pictures - because those results just seemed so weird to me)

It is reasonably obvious that these videos are so light weight in facts, evidence, or even effort to make a reasonable argument that they are simple deigned as reassurance for the faithful. It's so the faithful can point at us 'Poor children' and say 'they simple don't understand'.
