So I have a confession... (Patreon)

I've be slacking off. With the new season of Overwatch 2 dropping on the 10th and the latest update of Light of My Life coming out on the 11th... I've haven't gotten much done in the last couple of days.

It hasn't been a complete lack of work, though. I finished the second segment of day 2, and wrote (and rewrote) the third segment, which I'm currently in the process of posing images for. While doing one of the early shots, I noticed that the angle I was using was perfect for a little something-something going on in the background. I've already done a couple of these little background gags in the previous segment, and figured I'd keep them going, but my idea for this one was a bit different.

Minor story spoiler here, but while the two MCs are going to have a lot of things explained to them on day 2, one of the things they aren't going to find out yet is the existence of the non-humans on the island. Lucy, Poe, Bill, and Jo will all eventually make an appearance, but not until later when this bit of information is revealed and the MCs travel to that part of the island.

Since the bulk of the explaining on day 2 takes place in Wash's lab (or "The Hub" as it's now called), I figured I could have some of the non-humans walk past in the background of one of the shots. The question is... who?

That I'll be leaving up to all of you at fan-favorite and higher. Yup... it's poll time again (finally) and this time you'll be deciding who gets to make an early cameo. I'll go over the choices in more detail in the poll post itself.

I'll obviously need to make the characters chosen since I none of them exist yet, but I plan to keep working on the scene while the poll is active since it's probably only going to be one shot they'll be in and I can just come back to that shot when I'm ready for it.

So yeah... progress has been a bit slow, but I'm still working. I'll be posting the contest photoset sometime soon... still need to bang that out as well. With that said, I'm going to get back to it... after I post the poll, that is. See you in the next update!
