The second match is finally done! This took waaaay longer than it should have, and I'll go into some of the why it did a bit later. I now need to figure out the segments that will sandwich the Top Hat Challenge, and then we're in the final stretch with the last match and post-show shenanigans (which I already have mostly written).

Hopefully the last match will go smoother than the second one did, and it should because it actually takes place in the ring. The second match was the Hardcore title match and it takes place in three different locations. It doesn't linger too long in either of the first two, and once I got it to the third location it was easy going, even though that's where a bulk of the match takes place.

The problem was the second location I picked out. It's a cafe, and I figured I could do some interesting stuff there, but when I was finally making it (after lightly populating it with ghost-people), I had trouble navigating from spot to spot. I knew where I wanted to go for a couple of spot, but getting there was more of a pain than I wanted it to be. I had initially thought I'd do a kinda circuitous route around the cafe, ending behind the counter and finally making our way to the third location.

Sounded good, but when faced with what to do where, I just drew a blank. As such, I opted to beeline to behind the counter, which cut our time in the cafe a lot shorter than initially planned, but I could still get a few spots in and then make our way out through the cafe...

That didn't work either.

I ended up cutting out any wrestling throughout the seating area entirely and just got the hell out of there. Of course, this was after dealing with a problem I had not expected, and didn't notice the entirety of until it was too late. Let me show you.

Here's the cafe:

Add some ghost patrons:

Okay.. everything seems hunky-dory, but let's go behind the counter, which happens to be where I had planned for a couple of spot that I wanted to do would take place:

See all those parts that are missing?  If you're not familiar with Koikatsu's studio, certain walls and whatnot will be transparent on one side, allowing you to be "outside" of an area looking in and not have the wall in the way. That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why the hell they chose those assets when making this area behind the counter. You still have things obscuring the shot into the lobby area, and it makes this whole area pointless from a capture angle.

That's not gonna stop me, though, is it? I've got fucking spots planned back here and they're goddamn weill gonna happen! That being the case, I went to work and this:

Became this:

Now we're talking! It's fairly rudimentary, but it functions exactly how I need it to... or it would if I wasn't a fucking moron. You see...

I forgot to do the top part. Actually, forgot isn't the right word.. just straight up neglected to do it because for some reason I just assumed that the top was open like that. Being super unfamiliar with the environment, my brain completely ignored the fact that there was a problem. In fact, I didn't notice at all until I was going to do a spot where one of the wrestlers was half out of the area, sprawled on the counter, and the other wrestler was going to do a leg drop from the top of the window area... you know.. the window area that doesn't actually exist when you look from the other side.

It was too late to redo everything, so I just did some "patching" in photoshop after the fact, so that instead of this...

it's this:

It's very quick and dirty photoshopping, but it does it's job. Besides, if you're looking at the paneling in the background, I'm doing something wrong...

Okay! Back in a few days with the next update, and hopefully by then I'll be started on the last match!"
