Murphy was somewhat affected, in fact he shot at them, HOWEVER he wasn't as affected as the rest, and it lasted for less time, which is cool for it being him

From what I've read in interviews, Murphy was barely affected at all. He only shot at the ground when Bellamy steps menacingly close to Clarke. He could've hit them, if he wanted to... but he was only trying to separate them. Protecting himself, but also protecting them.

Shaw was killed by crossing the radiation shield. Only Clarke could walk thru it unharmed because of her black blood. Just as the lady was able to in this episode. Poor Raven to find out that way. Echo is such a smart and sharp strategist. She made the wisest choice of all - to knock herself out. So many quick-thinking, kickass women. I love that Diyoza was like: what's the situation? Let's go.

I like that Clarke was the only one affected who only meant harm to herself. Clarke owns her choices, right or wrong. Unlike Octavia right now -- who is taking zero responsibility and blaming everyone else.
