- Recently I've reached 600 Watchers on deviantART, someone gifted me a 1 month Core membership there and I finally got my first Master Supporter patron. I have to confess that when I've started making posters on SFM I've never thought I'd get that much praise of my works on my art sites, let alone on the Discord servers I'm in.
First of all let me thank all of you for making my days so much happy, and to show me that I'm not completely "useless". When I first started this journey I didn't expect to see just another hobby which I use as some sort of therapy for myself change into something popular along the years. I still have a long road to walk but getting all those comments saying how much my art is great and made people's day makes me so happy and encouraged to keep on this path, not to mention the number of watchers and favorites I get every month which some may consider to be "low" compared to other famous' artists but expressive enough for someone who makes renders in Source Filmmaker which certain people and art sites affirm them to be "low effort" and "irrelevant".

Do you know how long it can take the process of making a poster ? It can take days depending of the level of difficulty and complexity they have, which gets harder the more characters and objects it has:
- First you have to find the proper models, and in my case they must be not behind a paywall;
- Extract everything to the SFM folder;
- Open SFM and then start the project, hoping it doesn't crash in your face;
- Find the proper map for the render, which's also another tough thing to do since SFM doesn't have many options to choose so you have to use your brains to avoid repeating the same map for a project;
- Find the proper models for the render, especially if we're dealing with a headhack, which may take even more minutes to do so, and hope SFM doesn't crash and burn otherwise you'll have to start from step 3 all over again;
- Once the models are loaded look for references in art sites or Google to find the best pose possible for them;
- Don't forget to add lights, particles and objects to make the render look good, which takes more minutes;
- Render the image and hope it looks good.
- Now do everything again, this time with another pose/characters/whatever.

So no, rendering is not a "piece of cake" to do like many of those 3D Artists haters claim it to be. It takes some creativity and fertile imagination to put your projects in the screen of your computer, much like drawing. It gets worse when you have to make the models from scratch or a headhack like those I did for Sam and Max or Bendy, for example. Some posters take minutes to do, some take days so no posters are created equally even if they're part of the same project. Making a good poster takes time, just like a good looking drawing does. I always look for doing my best on my posters to avoid derogatory comments that I'm slacking or prove how much 3D Artists are lazy fucks. Of course I'm not perfect and I'll tend to make mistakes but it doesn't mean I won't improve and always go a step ahead for the sake of my watchers and patrons. Know that you're my main source of encouragement and inspiration, and I owe my respect only to you and nobody else since you count on me to make your day a little less shitty or even better, whatever if you see the cup half-full or half-empty.

I'd like to dedicate this Weekly Logs journal to thank all of you who've contributed to make MY life also a little less shitty with your favorites, comments and watches. I'm on my art hiatus but once I go back next I'll be working to give you the best content I can, be it SFW or NSFW. Thank you, for everything.
