The are two versions of the book, the original (AC 9) for BECMI with the creatures listed by environment or type, and the revised version (DMR 2) for the Rules Cyclopaedia, where they are "improved" with extra bits of text. I'm looking forward to it! Thanks James. Cheers, Glenn

I'm quite looking forward to it! I doubt I'll ever run BECMI, but I can't imagine there's that much difference in monster presentation between it and B/X, which I have run in the form of OSE. Man, the jargon of this hobby is weird.

The second edition changes from listing monsters by type, to listing them alphabetically. I prefer the listing by type, personally.
