My Art: Emma first sketches (Patreon)

Getting into drawing is so daunting. You see the image in your head but can you effectively communicate that through your hand onto the page? I’m using one of those janky How to Draw Manga books to give me some initial guidance. The left image i adhered to the book, the right image I free handed. Im surprised by my quality on the right image, it’s pretty close to my skill level when I tried drawing some years ago. It’s a good start, but I have a ways to go.
