Nichelle Nichols tribute (Patreon)

I took some time this evening to make these. 

It's no secret I grew up a huge Sci-fi fan, but Star Trek was always my favorite. Nichelle Nichols' Lt. Uhura was always a favorite (and one of my first celebrity crushes if I'm honest). She was was an inspiration and a wonderful character, played by a wonderful, charming, talented and beautiful actress. 

Just my small way of honoring a woman who inspired so many...

(The second image was actually my first attempt, using the Bridge as it looked in Uhura's final (original) appearance in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, but I then though the Original bridge set would be more fitting... Never id get the 'god rays' around the chair to work... But I think it still came out well)
