The Asari Civilisation 4.4.0 - Ringworld! (Patreon)

It's finally here! The largest and most expensive megaconstruction project that a civilisation in Stellaris can attempt. And, fittingly enough, the most challenging one to design and implement in the game! In Nessa's own words: "Well, not too terrible for... the second custom ring in existence for Stellaris."

Anyways! The ring features all 3 ringworld sections built in the elegant, monumental, hi-tech Asari style.

The spacious habitat sections were heavily inspired by the Citadel and the swooping, grandiose architecture of Thessia. And to make them a bit more interesting to look at, they even have an animated cloud layer, just like real planets!

The tech section captures the energy of the encircled star and circulates it throughout the massive megastructure to serve the high demands of its inhabitants.

Lastly, the seam connects neighbouring quarters of the ringworld, not only physically but also by transferring data as well as filtering and recycling excess energy; completing the ringworld as a living, self-sustaining organism.

Whether inhabited by a network of ascended republics  whose citizens deserve nothing short of utopia, or owned by fiercely independent corporations for the benefit of their decadent elite, this ringworld was custom-made to meet the needs, desires and excesses of the Asari Civilisation.

And with this, we have finally reached all the major milestones for the Asari as of the current version of Stellaris! Which means... now we can look forward to 2.0 without a backlog of distractions! And, of course, we have a huge announcement regarding the long-unannounced Project Chocolate Toffee!
