Poisonous Pools, Expert (Patreon)

Hello again, Experts/Masters! This week's map is the Poisonous Pools (30x40), a twisty little cave full of toxic sludge! I honestly can't think of many critters who would hang out in a terrible cave like this, but I can only assume they aren't particularly interesting to talk to or friendly to strangers.

Your alternate versions of this map are Enchanted and Open! The Enchanted variant has much more mystical lighting and effects, looking almost Astral compared to the base version. This feels like a cave you wander into and come out an elk or something. The Open version is a sort of recoloring/relighting of the base one, featuring multiple implied openings through the ceiling to the surface. While this might make the map feel a little more cheerful, it's up to you to decide if this cave is somehow preferred over the surface above.
