Sacred Pool Expert, ft. JamesRPGArt (Patreon)

Hi again, Experts! This week I made the Sacred Pool (40x45), a basin in a Haunted wood with a radiant, angelic statue glowing at the center. I imagine that this bad boy has some serious magic involved which can bring some peace or healing to adventurers traveling through this awful forest. But.. why then is this a battlemap? Are there guardians protecting the statue from outsiders? Will the statue test the adventurers to see if they're worthy of its blessings? 

Also, I was joined in this map's creation by James' RPG Art! He made a painting to accompany the map, giving your players a 1st person perspective of the battlefield- perfect for giving them a feel for the environment or immersing them in the scene you're crafting.
