This week's map is the Sacred Pool (40x45), another Haunted map! This time however, I was joined by James of James' RPG Art, who created a painting to accompany the map, giving players a 1st person perspective of the environment. His painting is particularly helpful here, considering how complicated terrain can get when multiple levels are involved, meaning your players should have a much easier time understanding the environment and feeling immersed in it with its aid. I hope you like it!

Side note: I've prepared a variant of this one without the angel statue, because I figured some of you would rather have a map of just an ominous pool. Angel statues are cool and all, but I imagine they aren't usually part of most combats.

Go check out James' library of paintings on his Instagram, I'm a big fan of his work.

Adepts can find their post here, and Experts can find theirs here.

LANCE MANLY, SORCERER OF SIN

Thanks a ton for the generic variant! I already have a plan to use both, this is perfect.

Looks amazing. Really well done with the tiered levels of the map. Currently writing a campaign based on all your Haunted Forest maps, and this one is perfect for the final boss. Any chance you're making a Witch's Cottage in this setting as well? That would be perfect --> Nevermind, just found https://www.patreon.com/posts/43337128, which is exactly that haha
