Haunted Stream, Expert (Patreon)

Hi folks! This is the Haunted Stream (50x50), a very very big one. It's so big that because of it I'm sliding days behind schedule as we speak, so let's keep this moving! This bad boy's got a meandering stream cutting through the Haunted forest, which seems somewhat thinner here. Mostly that's because I wanted to leave some room to maneuver around the edges of the map due to the middle being taken up by a stream, but maybe there could be an in-lore reason as well?

Your alternate versions of this map are Stark and Bloody! The Stark version is sorta a twist on both the regular Day and Night versions, featuring grim colors that near black and white as well as high-contrast lighting and a complete lack of fog. The idea here is that this one sets up a different mood than either the regular versions, which both have a bit of a cartoony, colorful charm to them compared to this one. This Stark variant feels cold, grim, and suspenseful, like a cloudless night. I think it's fun! 

And yes, Bloody- you get it. Is it a trick of the light? Is there a bloodbath up-river? Are there horrible magiks at play here? I don't know, but bloody water is a creepy look and a weird premise so here I am, one arm outstretched with a jpg pinched between two fingers, looking mildly grossed out and gesturing for you to please take it off my hands.
