Gloomy Cave, Expert (Patreon)

Hello again, folks! This week's map is the Gloomy Cave (30x40), a basic cave map to fit the bill for most of your smallish cave adventures. We've got tight hallways, underground streams, and shadowy lighting- everything a growing adventurer needs.

Your alternate versions of this map are Funky and Subterranean! The Funky version is a recoloring of the Adept's Shroom variant, this time starring some very extreme and wacky colors which I felt gave the map a very odd vibe. As with many of the extra stuff you guys get, I'm not totally sure how you'll use this, but at least now you have the opportunity to try! The Subterranean one is gradually becoming a classic for my underground maps, featuring dank blues and greens, which I feel like express the dimness of the cave while keeping things nice and bright. Mostly I just like how it feels more swampy, but that's just me.
