Lava River, Expert (Patreon)

Hello again! This week's map is the Lava River (25x25), another somewhat simple volcanic map, continuing my effort to create more content for my least developed terrain. I'm going to make at least 1 more volcanic map too, so don't think I'm done yet!

Your alternate versions of these map are Caustic and Meltdown! The Caustic version is an all-time favorite, I just love swapping the glowing red for dangerously glowing green goo. The swap makes the map feel more alchemical, like there's some evil wizardry at play or perhaps like you've found yourself in a demonic plane with fel magic running in rivers through the rock. Either way, I'm sure this green stuff is just as lethal as lava, but that's up to you to decide. 

The Meltdown version features the 'hot' effects cranked up to 200%, because while the original version feels warm, it just doesn't quite express the extremely dangerous nature of the environment. This one does, a lot.
