Stone Circle (Patreon)

Hi everyone! This week's map is the Stone Circle (30x40), a map which was requested several months ago, created in July of last year, and retouched this week. Yup, I took a second pass at it after letting it sit for over 6 months- I suppose my taste in forest maps has changed over the last several months, I ended up making the colors a decent bit more subdued and added more gradients between the water and sand. Anyway, I'll talk a little more about that in the Behind the Scenes post. 

Speaking of the Adepts' post, I'm very happy with their alternate version of this map, which is a spicy Fey recoloring! I had a little fun with it, adding lots of interesting magical effects that make it feel very mystical and might change how I make Fey maps from now on. 

And, just like that, I'm back from paternity leave! Starting this week I'm entirely back. It's been a very nice break though, my wife and daughter are happy and healthy, and I'm excited to make some new, fun maps!
