Hello Experts and Masters, and welcome back! This week's map is the Frozen Pond (25x25), a small, simple, and useful map that I'm 100% certain will get plenty of play in wintery campaigns. In fact, I was a little surprised that I hadn't made a map like this before, so it's probably good that I got to it eventually.

This time, your alternate versions of this map are Eldritch and Blizzard! I'm really happy with the Eldritch version especially, it's really neat how the addition of some spooky shadows implies a huge amount of depth beneath the ice- and don't think you need to include the creature below as an enemy, it could simply be frozen in place! Maybe the quest for this map includes preventing the awakening of the frozen monster, perhaps by thwarting some cultists or ensuring that the pond doesn't thaw somehow.

And, of course, I included an even snowier version of this map, the Blizzard version. I think it's nice to include obvious additional weather effects to maps whenever possible, and what weather would you expect in a snowy forest other than a snowstorm?
