Howdy, Experts and Masters! This week's map is the Rickety Docks (25x30), a fairly standard city map that you should have little trouble fitting into any urban location near water. Point of interests here include the raised street level at the bottom third of the map and the docks which hug it, offering a few interesting alternate routes for crafty players/enemies to take. I particularly like the idea of water-dwelling foes emerging from the water and striking the docks, anything from giant crabs to water elementals to sahuagin will do here, I think!

Your alternate versions for this map are Fey and Sunset, two of my personal favorites to make. The sunset version especially is nice for cities, perfect for setting a dramatic tone for an encounter, while also being a power-play when your players spend too long at an earlier location and arrive later than expected.  The Fey one is a little niche, but you can't deny that it has a hugely different vibe than the others, much more magical-feeling. I can imagine an encounter where some dangerous and mind-bending magical artifact was brought into the dock and is controlling the sailors and other city folk with a massive enchanting aura, visualized with the purplish palette here. Might be fun!
