Hello everyone, and welcome to the 9th map poll! Here I collect your suggestions and let everyone vote on every option they'd like me to make, and in a week I'll end the poll and total the results. After that, I'll have a list of the 7-8 most popular maps among my patrons and I can get to work. Also, note that you can vote multiple times- pick everything that you want me to make!

I've populated this list with my favorite ideas from the last few months, tweaking several slightly so as to make them a little more vague- this way I can make maps that are useful to more of my patrons.

Finally, when it's time for me to make another poll I'll first come back to this post for new ideas. If you want something that wasn't on this poll, let me know in the comments and there's a good chance it will show up on the next one!

A city hall square is exactly what I need in my campaign coming up 😭

Anonymous

Depending on how the Rough Inn and the Shady Brewery are drawn, I could see those being versatile--I run a wild west campaign, so the more vague, the better!

Definitely excited for some undead playground ^^

It's so hard not to just click all of these! FYI - My players have remarked several times how much they love the maps I use...and they're almost all yours. :)

City hall with a winter version for plus subs :-)

DeadManJoe

If shady brewery wins can you have it fit an Underdark theme? That map would be perfect for the brewery in Gracklstugh from Out of the Abyss!

Would love variants of existing city maps, showing a ruined gate, ruined fighting pit, ruined narrow alleys.

DeadManJoe

Fellow Patrons, there's literally HUNDREDS of Inn battlemaps on google! Please vote for something that hasnt been done 1000 times already...

Sometimes I just want to vote for all of them. There's so many good options here

neutralparty

Good to know! If they end up on the list I'll be sure to make them usable for wild west environments.

I've tried to make winter versions of city maps before, it's actually pretty tricky! It's probably time I try it again though, so if that one ends up doing well in the polls I'll definitely give it another go.

I get it, but it's a suggestion that I get so often that it would be silly not to include one inn option. The inn from the last poll didn't actually succeed though, so it seems to be a self-correcting problem.

A ruined barbarian village would be cool. Less medieval and more Conan the barbarian. :)

Probably a very biased opinion, but I think that there are plenty of (amazing) good "outdoors" maps, while trying to find maps for urban encounters is usually a more difficult task (that is been adressed in the last months gotta admit). Thus I think that the Shady brewery would fill the gaps that remain for a urban centered campaing!

I feel whats missing often when looking for maps online is indoor in-town, so rough inn and Town Hall are great for Corrupted Rulers and such!

Robert Nichols

I would love to see more desert, badlands, etc. Basically places that no sane person would want to be.

DeadManJoe

There's plenty of Inn maps available online that you can just flavor through description that they are "rough"

Running Descent into Avernus right now.... the more hellish lava maps/variants the better!

Anonymous

Had you thought about floating island maps? Maybe a clear sky version of the astral island map.

Anonymous

I'd love to see a jungle map with a small overgrown altar.

Mirriky

The Ruined Village Center would be so helpful, there are plenty of village maps but none with on-the-spot graves or signs of abandonment/evacuation

Anonymous

Thank's for your work !

My players are currently in the Shadow Fell. I would love something with a dark and dead wasteland feel. Or even a forest full of dead trees.

Matt Chisolm

I’d love to see a mountain or forest shrine for an evil/shadow deity long lost to civilizations knowledge. One of my players is looking for such a shrine. (: so excited about what you are creating!

Matt Chisolm

Also, I have always loved the idea of larger multilevel dungeons or caves...if that was a possibility, that would be super cool, but I know that would likely take significantly more time.

I have no idea what a bivouac is, so I voted for it to find out!

Honestly I'd love some prop packs

neutralparty

It's a lot of work to make ruined versions of old maps, much more than a typical Revisited post even. In order for that to happen, it would have to take the place of a week's map, which I'd really rather avoid doing. However, if someday I decide to take a week off from making something new, this will be the first thing I tackle.

The 1982 Conan the Barbarian is one of my absolute favorite movies, I don't know why I never thought to make maps for that environment! I've noted this idea for next time.

neutralparty

Is there a particular type of hellish map you need? When I'm making maps with lava I usually just default to islands of rock in the middle of a flow, but I don't think I can get away with doing that many more times before I'll need to come up with something more interesting.

neutralparty

I did make a clear sky version of it, it was one of the extra $5 rewards! I'll add a floating island option to the next poll too though.

neutralparty

Big dungeons are very tricky and would probably end up being a 2 week job, but I'll add it to the next poll either way!

neutralparty

I'll add a prop pack option to the next poll, but maybe for July's Revisited post I can assemble some pieces of my recent maps. What kind of props are you looking for? Indoor or outdoor?

Jay Lacure

Rancid tunnels sounds so cool and flexible. I could use it for drow and driders, a nasty subterranean dragon, or pretty much anything that lives in the underdark.

The world definitely needs more city maps!

Please do more feywild content, it’s so useful!!

Dax

Some sort of prison would be a great addition to the collection! Perhaps a city gaol or a village lawkeeper's station. Keep up the great work!
